In honor of National Astronomy Day, the Orlando Science Center will be holding a full day of astronomically fun activities!

Thanks to event partners the Central Florida Astronomical Society (CFAS), Seminole State College Planetarium, Brevard Astronomical Society, and NASA guests will get to enjoy Orlando By Night live planetarium shows in the Science Center’s Dr. Phillips CineDome.

Guest will also participate in solar viewing with telescopes throughout the day. The Science Center will be open late on Astronomy Day to provide night sky telescope observing after the sun goes down. Astronomers will be on hand to answer guest questions about the cosmos!

The Orlando Science Center will be giving away a telescope during the day’s activities. The recipient must be present to win. National Astronomy day is presented by Astronomy Magazine and Celestron Telescope.
