Winter Springs Festival of the Arts
Celebrate Central Florida’s top fine and performing artists during the Winter Springs Festival of the Arts, presented by Bright House Networks, October 20 and 21, 2012 along Blumberg Boulevard at the Winter Springs Town Center, located at the northwest corner of SR 434 and Tuskawilla Road.
Produced by the Oviedo-Winter Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Winter Springs, the Festival of the Arts is free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fine art presentations will feature more than 125 juried and invited veteran and emerging artists in categories including sculpture and clay, drawing, graphics, pastels, crafts, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, digital media, and performing arts.
Additionally, the fifth annual Festival, which will take place at the Winter Springs Town Center, will showcase an eclectic line up of live entertainment including France Neil and Matt the Saxman, Ian Vidal, Lady J, Linda McKenzie, Lindy Romez and Sol Y Mar, Makeshift, and The New Covenant Jazz Ensemble.
Photo: Ian Vidal, Linda McKenzie and Makeshift, among others, will deliver a diverse schedule of classic and smooth jazz, Latin stylings, gospel and barbershop quartet performances.
Designed for the entire family, the Festival will feature a variety of food and beverages, a children’s entertainment stage and a student art exhibit.
